Who we are

This is the project page of our Erasmus+ Project LeaFap. Our aim is to develop a theory- and needs-based framework for leadership and facilitation in professional learning communities (PLCs).

Legal basis Consent: What data do we store and why?

We process your data depending on how you use our website:

When using the contact form
When using the contact form, you voluntarily provide us with the following data about yourself:

  • E-mail addresses for answering your enquiry by e-mail.
  • Message with the usual content of emails (enquiry text, optional: user name, name, other contact details).
  • The data sent will only be used to process your enquiry.

For all site visitors – even without login: Access data
The provider collects access data and creates server log files about every access to the website (so-called server log files) which are necessary for the operation of web servers and to protect the server from misuse and attacks.

The access data includes

  • Amount of data transferred
  • Notification of successful retrieval

  • Operating system of the user
  • Referrer URL (the previously visited page)

The provider uses the log data only for statistical evaluations for the purpose of operation, security and optimisation of the offer. However, the provider reserves the right to check the log data retrospectively if there is a justified suspicion of unlawful use based on concrete evidence.

Third-party content

It is possible that third-party content, such as videos from YouTube and graphics from other websites or similar, may be integrated into this online offering. This always presupposes that the providers of this content (hereinafter referred to as “third-party providers”) collect the IP address of the user, because without the IP address, they would not be able to send the content to the browser of the respective user. The IP address is therefore required to display this content. We endeavour to only use content whose respective providers only use the IP address to deliver the content. However, we have no influence on whether the third-party providers store the IP address, e.g. for statistical purposes. Insofar as we are aware of this, we will inform users of this.

Cookies
Cookies are small files that make it possible to store specific, device-related information on the user’s access device (PC, smartphone, etc.). On the one hand, they serve the user-friendliness of websites and thus the users (e.g. storage of login data). On the other hand, they are used to collect statistical data on website usage and to analyse it in order to improve the website. Users can influence the use of cookies. Most browsers have an option to restrict or completely prevent the storage of cookies. However, it should be noted that the use and in particular the ease of use are restricted without cookies. If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymised string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service Privacy Policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Who we share your data with

If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognise and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
