Estarásgin by exploring selected extractos de la Comunicación No Violenta: A Language of Life (Marshall B. Rosenberg) that illustrate common patterns of communication that block compassion. These readings will invite you para reflexionar on tu propio/a conversational habits y identify opportunities for más conscious y empathetic dialogue.

Siguiente, usted will participate in interactive y guided practice exercises that connect these ideas to real-life facilitation within Comunidades Profesionales de Aprendizaje (CPA). Throughout this module, tendrá access to supporting materials, guiando questions, y práctico examples that le ayudará a apply the principles of NVC to strengthen relationships, improve understanding, y foster colaborativo growth within your equipos.

Reading y Reflexión: Communication That Blocks Compassion

In this primero part, estarásgin exploring how certain communication habits—como judgments, blame, y denial of responsibility—can block empathy y connection within equipos y Comunidades Profesionales de Aprendizaje (CPA).

Mediante selected extractos de la Comunicación No Violenta: A Language of Life (Marshall B. Rosenberg), reflexionarás sobre la ways in which everyday language shapes relationships y discover opportunities para construir más conscious, compassionate dialogue within your profesional contexto.

4Sobre los juicios moralistas

HTML

“One kind of life-alienating communication es la/el use of moralistic judgments that imply wrongness or badness sobre la part of personaas who don’t act in harmony con our values. […]
It is my belief that all such analyses of other human beings are tragic expressions of our own values y needs. They are tragic porque cuando we express our values y needs en este/a form, we increase defensiveness y resistance among the very personaas whose behaviors are of concern to us.”

(Marshall B. Rosenberg, Chapter 2)

Piensa en your interactions como CPA facilitador:a. When ha noticed moral judgments appearing in equipo communication?

How might recognising the needs behind those judgments change the tone of dialogue and foster greater understanding?

5Sobre la negación de la responsabilidad

HTML

“We are dangerous cuando we no son conscious of our responsibility for how we behave, think, y feel. […] The más we are able to connect our feelings to our own needs, the easier it is to accept responsibility rather than blame others.”

(Marshall B. Rosenberg, Chapter 2)

Reflexiona sobre a recent situation within su CPA or profesional contexto waquí disagreement or tension arose.

How did taking—or failing to take—responsibility for tu propio/a emotions y actions influence the outcome of that interaction?

Qué might have changed if all members had acknowledged su propio/a feelings y needs?

6Sobre las raíces de la comunicación que aliena la vida

HTML

“At the root of much, if not all, violence—si verbal, psychological, or physical—is a kind of thinking that attributes the cause of conflict to wrongness in one’s adversaries, y a corresponding inability to think of oneself or others in terms of vulnerability—qué one might be feeling, fearing, yearning for, missing.”

(Marshall B. Rosenberg, Chapter 2)

Como facilitador:a, qué does “seeing others mediante their vulnerability” mean to you in practice?

How might adopting this perspective change la forma en que approach disagreement, tension, or emotional reactions within su CPA?

In qué ways could this shift strengthen trust y connection among members?

7De la reflexión a la práctica: reconocer patrones de comunicación

8Practicar el diálogo empático

HTML

Después identifying the main communication patterns that block empathy, we ahora turn to a more practical exploration of how empathic dialogue puede ser applied in real situations.

Antes moving to the práctico exercise, take a moment to watch this short video that introduces the key ideas from Marshall Rosenberg’s Nonviolent Communication.

Después watching the video, recall how Rosenberg explains los cuatro componentes of Nonviolent Communication y how empathy changes the quality of dialogue. Keep these principles in mind para la exercise.

Work individually or con a partner (if possible). Imagine a typical profesional situation within su CPA:

A colleague repeatedly arrives unprepared para la equipo’s reuniones. You feel frustrated porque the grupo’s tiempo is limited.

Using Rosenberg’s framework, write or say aloud both sides de la conversation following these stages:

  1. Observation: Describe qué pasó sin judging or labelling.
  2. Feelings: Express how you feel in response to qué you observed.
  3. Needs: Identify the unmet needs behind those feelings.
  4. Request: Formulate a clear, respectful request that could improve collaboration.

(Example: “When the materials aren’t ready at the start of our reunión, I feel tense porque I value using our tiempo efficiently. Would you be willing para compartir them con us beforehand next tiempo?”)

Después completing your version, reflect or share (in the forum, chat or written note):

  •  Which de la four steps felt más natural to you? Which was hardest?
  • Qué conditions ayudarle stay empathic y self-aware during conflict?
  • Does empathy mean avoiding anger, or can anger también be expressed compassionately?
  • Qué personaal actitudes or habilidades are necesarios to use Rosenberg’s methodology effectively?

9Perception Circle Diary – NVC Version

HTML

Después exploring y practising the principles of Comunicación No Violenta (NVC), usted are ahora invited to bring these ideas into tu propio/a Comunidad Profesional de Aprendizaje (CPA). The following activity offers a reflective herramienta que puede ayudarle gradually integrate empathy y conscious communication into your daily interactions como facilitador:a.

This reflective practice is inspired por la original Perception Circle herramienta, adapted aquí using los cuatro componentes of Comunicación No Violenta.

By dedicating a pocos minutos cada day to observe, identify feelings y needs, y considera possible requests, facilitadores:as gradually replace automatic reactions con conscious, empathetic responses.

Weekly Reflexión Structure

Day Focus de la Reflexión Guiding Question
Monday Observation Qué did I observe (sin judging) in qué was said to me during a CPA interaction?
Tuesday Feelings Qué feelings did that communication awaken in me?
Wednesday Needs (others) Qué needs might han sido behind qué was said to me?
Thursday Needs (self) Qué needs of mine were met or unmet during the interaction?

Usa el/la Perception Circle Diary throughout one week of su CPA work. Record brief notes daily en una physical notebook, Google Doc, or shared Padlet.

On Friday, take a pocos minutos to review your week y identify any recurring patterns or insights. If possible, invite your miembros de la CPA to engage en una shared reflexión round at the end de la week para discutir how awareness of needs y empathy affected grupo dynamics.

By the end de la week, facilitadores:as will have:

  • Practised los cuatro componentes of NVC in real interactions.
  • Increased their awareness of how emotions y needs shape communication.
  • Strengthened the relational quality y empathy dentro de su CPA equipos.
