As part of our Erasmus+ project, we have developed a self-instructive, modular online training programme to support leaders and facilitators of Professional Learning Communities (PLCs). The training is available as an interactive online course in its own dedicated area on this website, where you can work through the modules step by step at your own pace.

The training is organized into three modules, each addressing a key aspect of PLC work: Building Relationships, Collaboration and Communication; Inquiry, Reflection and Knowledge Building; and Organizing and Facilitating PLCs in In-Person and Digital Spaces. Each module consists of four sessions that follow a common structure — introduction, learning activities, further reading, and self-reflection. Each session takes no more than 45 minutes, offering focused and manageable steps.

While prior experience of leading or participating in a PLC is not required, the tools and tasks become even more valuable when applied in a real community of practice. The training builds directly on the project’s Conceptual Framework and Learning Outcomes, which define the competences needed for effective PLC leadership and facilitation.
