At the end of May, the LeaFaP consortium will come together for its next transnational project meeting – this time in beautiful Málaga and Marbella, Spain!

The entire team is very much looking forward to reconnecting in person, sharing progress, and continuing our collaborative work in an inspiring setting. One of the central goals of this meeting will be to jointly shape and develop the online training modules for future PLC facilitators.

Bringing together partners from across Europe, the LeaFaP project continues to build bridges between research, school practice, and teacher education. Our online training is designed to equip current and future professionals with the tools, skills, and confidence to lead and facilitate Professional Learning Communities (PLCs) with purpose and reflection.

We can’t wait to share new insights, resources, and experiences with you soon – stay tuned!

Der Beitrag 🏛️Transnational Project Meeting in Thessaloniki, Greece erschien zuerst auf LEAFP - Leading and Facilitating PLC in Schools.

During the meeting, two reports were discussed: one based on a literature review (https://www.leafap.eu/about/results/)and the other presenting data on the practices, experiences, roles, challenges, and training needs of these teacher community facilitators. Additionally, groundwork was laid to develop the theoretical framework and learning outcomes for upcoming training activities.

The meeting was a collaboration among eight teacher training institutions, including Weingarten University of Education (Germany, coordinator), Vorarlberg University of Education (Austria), European University of Cyprus, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (Greece), Norwegian University of Science and Technology, the Marbella–Coín Teaching Center (Spain), the Málaga Teaching Center (Spain), and the University of Malaga (Spain).

This meeting was a step forward in our journey to enhance the quality of education through professional learning communities. Stay tuned for more updates!

The project, entitled “Leading and Facilitating Professional Learning Communities in Schools towards an Inquiry-based and Reflective Practice,” #LeaFaP, is funded by the EU as Erasmus+ project and presents an opportunity for practical application in school settings. The project runs from September 2023 to August 2026.

We are currently looking forward to our next TPM at the University of Malaga.
