A: I really appreciated that we went over it again last week. It was important not to just leave it as it was.

B: Yeah, and that we figured out together how things could run better. The discussion with our facilitator was really constructive then.

A: Totally. I liked that we clearly pointed out what bothered us – without blaming anyone straight.

B: And it actually made a difference: now we have a clear start, with a welcome and a brief agenda guiding the session.

A: And the facilitator writes everything down where everyone can see it! That really makes it so much easier to keep track.

B: The seating arrangement is different now, too. I can see everyone better, and actually, everyone can see each other. The table’s tidier, so it’s easier to focus. Now we finally have space in the middle for our topics and notes. Putting the catering on a side table was a great idea – everyone can help themselves, and it doesn’t get in the way.

A: Yeah, I totally get your point. The atmosphere definitely seems completely different now, because everyone is paying more attention to each other.

B: For me, this is really an important insight: if something’s not working, you need to speak up – but together and with a focus on solutions.

A: Absolutely. Be open, but constructive. That’s the only way things will move forward.
